This stamped patio sat under a deck in Breckenridge and had taken a beating from mountain freeze-thaw. The slabs were spalling, and wide cracks ran across the surface and around the log posts, with some sections lifted out of place. We patched the spalled areas, ground the entire stamped patio down, and filled every crack. The worst section, right around the log posts, was torn out and repoured before any coating went down. Then we installed a quartz overlay for a durable, easy to maintain surface built to handle Summit County winters. Before and after photos are included so you can see the difference.
What was wrong
Stamped patio under a deck in Breckenridge had spalling and wide cracks running across the slabs and around the log posts. Mountain freeze-thaw had opened the cracks and lifted sections.
How we fixed it
Patched the spalled areas, ground the entire stamped patio, filled every crack, and installed a quartz overlay. The worst section under the log posts was torn out and repoured before the overlay went on.
